Providores

Tonight a few of us are heading out to Providores on Marylebone High Street. It is a highly praised New Zealand restaurant. Been looking at the menu and I will be having the Steamed English asparagus with a deep-fried egg, Teruel jamon, fried shallot rings and Banyuls vinegar dressing for my starter.

Followed closely by the Roast New Zealand venison loin on Jerusalem artichokes, spiced quince, buttered spinach and hazelnut mole sauce.

Sounds delicious ! Can't wait.

Touch Rugby - Season has started !!!

I am playing this year in two touch teams: Smoking Pole (Tuesday - Mens) and Tu Meke (Wednesday - Mixed)

Its been a very slow start to the season with both teams trying to form new combinations with a lot of new faces. Needless to say both teams have lost the opening 2 matches. So thats 4 from 4 and I am not too happy about it. There are a lot of new teams in the competion this year and they look a lot younger than us!

Our combinations are starting to work a lot better now so we should be chalking up a couple of wins next week.

Its been a far cry from the dizzing heights of last season where we only lost one pool game and won both trophys.
